While zhopster has been developed as a mobile shopping list, the use is not limited to shopping. You can use the zhopster lists as task lists or wish lists and group items in whatever type of groups you want.

Sign in

You have to sign in to use the service. Signing up is free; same as using the service. You need to have a registered email address and a password to sign-in. You are kept signed in for one month. If you don't use the service for more than a month you will be logged out and you have to login the next time you use the service. You can also logout by clicking the logout link in top navigation or alternatively you can remove all cookies; this will log you out.

Sign up

You can sign-up easily by filling in a form on the web. Your account is created immediately and you can start using the service. You need to fill in an email address (which is used to sign in to the system) and twice your selected password. Other fields are optional. Your email address and other possible personal information will be safe with us. We do not give, rent or sell your contact information to anyone.

My Lists

With this utility you can manage your lists. You create a new list; delete or hide an existing one. You can also duplicate an older shopping list. With this method you can create a template shopping list, which has all the basic products in it; then you simply duplicate that to become the basis of your new list. There are two versions of the actual list available. The (old) version works equally as the main version, but the old version transfers data more often with the server. On the other hand, these lists are very small in size.

Managing a list

In the actual list management feature you can add items to the opened list. You can collapse or expand the categories as you walk along the shop. Once you pick up an item and put it into the shopping cart, you can hide the item from the list. After you have done all changes to the list you should save it for all changes to take effect. You can categorize the items if you want to do so, but this is not mandatory in any way. Grouping can be useful if you organize your items by the isles in the shop.
